Maggie Vandewalle recalls a childhood divided between two passions-an insatiable love of reading and a profound fascination for the natural world. These early interests are the foundation for her paintings of whimsical creatures whose antics often bring a smile or a feeling that one has walked into the middle of a remarkable journey.
Bought this for my mom who's obsessed with highland cows, and the illustration has this soft, slightly nostalgic quality that made her tear up a bit. The card stock is thick enough that it doesn't flop over on the shelf.
The card arrived in perfect condition, and the artwork really brings that gentle Highland cow to life—it's charming without being overly cute. I sent it to my book-loving friend for her birthday, and the quality of the print made it feel special enough to frame afterward.
This card is absolute perfection for my Highland cow-loving friend. The artwork captures her whimsical style beautifully, and the quality feels substantial in hand. Made the whole gift feel extra special.
