The marigold design is warmer in person than I expected, and the paper stock feels sturdier than typical party placemats. I used them for a small Thanksgiving dinner with cloth napkins and they held up fine through the whole meal.
Layered these under my charger plates for Thanksgiving and they held up through the whole meal without wrinkling. The marigold print is warm without being too orange, and they wiped clean where gravy dripped. Way nicer than the flimsy ones I've bought before.
The paper quality surprised me—sturdy enough to survive turkey gravy spills without tearing. I layered them over our burlap runner and the marigold pattern really popped against the fall table accents. Such an easy way to dress up a weeknight dinner, too.
