The chambray weave actually soaks up water instead of just pushing it around like my old towel did. The hang loop is a small thing but I use it every single day. Pre-washed and soft right out of the package, no break-in period needed.
The cotton-linen blend has that soft, lived-in feel right out of the package thanks to the pre-washing. The hang loop is a small thing but I actually use it every day on my oven handle.
I've washed this towel a handful of times now and the chambray check still looks crisp with no fading. The hang loop is genuinely handy, though it's a touch smaller than my other dish towels so it doesn't cover much of the counter.
